Sadly it’s true, we hear it a lot… The answer is No, you don’t have to be fit before you start, whether you’re super unfit, hoping to get fit or maintain fitness – It’s our job to help you get fit and enjoy the process. 86% of people that come to us have fallen off the bandwagon and need something new to get back on the horse. It’s kind of like saying “I need to become educated before hiring a tutor” but, isn’t that why you hire a tutor in the first place? The biggest thing to remember is that EVERYONE has to start somewhere. “I started training at the beginning of January 2017. Nowadays I try to make 3-4 Muay Thai sessions a week. I feel great! I’ve been steadily improving my fitness, lost about 6kgs in body weight so far and still plan to lose a fair bit more. I still die during some of the sessions but that’s because I’m also pushing harder. It’s been super fun rather than a chore to exercise.”

26 year old loses 26 kilograms through Boxing in Perth

Sad day today as we say good bye to the body lost by Nathan. It has become so bad now that people who haven’t seen him in a long time don’t recognise him. He’s fitter, stronger and looks 10 years younger going from 85kgs to a lean mean 73kgs through eating less shit food, dedicating 6 to 8 hours a week at Boxing & Strength training and drinking plenty of water everyday – A whopping 12 kilos… RIP Old bod. WOW 😳 Sometimes when you see someone everyday you don’t realise how far they have come. Losing just short of 30 kilograms.

On the left is Adriana prior to joining Champions Gym in May 2015. On the right is Adriana – 18 months on – What a transformation! Just like everyone, she has gone through times of low motivation, taken holidays, battled injuries, and had relationship issues. But Adriana just keeps turning up to training and overcoming the hurdles enjoying the Strength & Conditioning classes and smashing the 30 Day Challenge Programs.

Watch out for Adriana’s coming soon. This just goes to show if you want something bad enough you can achieve it.
